Getting Started
Step 1: Install WritingProof from Google Workspace Marketplace™
Step 2: Open any Google Docs™ document — click WritingProof → Open WritingProof Panel from the menu to open the sidebar.
Step 3: In the sidebar, click Start Tracking to begin recording your writing session.
Step 4: Write your document normally. The sidebar tracks your typing and paste events in real-time every 10 seconds.
Step 5: Keep the sidebar open while writing — tracking pauses if the sidebar is closed.
Step 6: Click Stop Tracking in the sidebar when finished. Your session is saved to Google Drive™ automatically.
Step 7: Click Show Report to see your writing statistics, or Generate QR Code to create a certificate for your document.
